Personality

I'll be honest: I'm that millennial therapist. I curse, I make jokes, I reference TikTok. I'm as liberal as can be. Cozy is my name and Therapy is my game. I'll never bullshit you, I'll see the best in you, and I'll help you grow. My plants are dying and I have fidgets out the wazoo. If you would like to get a sense of how my brain works, check out my blog!

Passion

I know that therapy is a scary, expensive endeavor. I aim to make your experience accessible, rewarding, and the perfect mix of challenging and comforting. My passion is witnessing people change their lives and become the version of themselves they want to be. I'm proud of every one of my clients for the hard work they do throughout our time together.

Origin Story

I was born in Knoxville, TN to teenage parents. Growing up low-income in the South has taught me about resiliencecompassion, and the power of a stubborn mind. Today I live in St. Louis with my husband of 9 years, our toddler, and our five pets.  I spend my free time reading, doing pole fitness, and working hard to be a mom that breaks the cycle of family dysfunction.

Education

I graduated from Lincoln Memorial University in 2015 with a BS in Psychology. My career in mental health began by accident while working with a nonprofit homeless coalition. Eventually, I landed at BJC Behavioral Health working for several years as a case manager for adults suffering from severe mental illness. I earned my MA in Counseling at Lindenwood University.
